This would be very good if you are on the go. If you do not want to boot up your pc/mac completely, and u need to check your email before you drive off from the wi fi hot spot, and you boot up computer and in 5 seconds you’re online. That is if you were to dual boot it and it wasn’t just an iso for virtual machines and usb boots.

Thats true…this OS will def. be suited for netbooks and other computers that aren’t meant for much more than browsing the web and typing emails/documents…but on the other hand..that’s all some people need!

I agree! This will be really useful for those who spend their days on the web anyway. It’s def. not going to be every computer users cup of tea, but I imagine this is going to lead to some very inexpensive laptops that will help tons of people with their everyday/average computing tasks.

It’s so simplistic and basic. But when I really think about it I spend probably around 90% of the time on my computer running the internet browser, so why not make it the main part of an operating system? This will be much more useful when the internet becomes more available without having to be in a hotspot.
